Music and Drama
We offer professional private lessons with highly trained instructors. Students receive one - on - one instruction in twenty minute sessions. They perform solos in two annual shows. Private lessons are available in Voice, Piano, Guitar, All String Instruments, All Brass and Woodwind Instruments as well as Drums. To book private lesson sessions, returning students are now able to register online. New students should email email@example.com to discuss which instructor will best meet your needs.
Show Choir is a fun class working on vocal performance, choreography, staging and so much more for students ages 7 and up.
Drama is a fun class that works on scripted material as well as Improv. This class has their own performance in February or March to perform for their family and friends.
Meet The Teachers
Miss Pam is our Advanced Voice and Piano Instructor. She has a Bachelor of Music Education from Grand Valley State University. She has taught music education at Standish-Sterling Schools for 33 years. She also is the director of the local Choraleers. Her lessons incorporate a variety of styles of music as well as a solid foundation in reading music and performance skills.
Stage Right is happy to utilize Miss Pam's vast knowledge and love of the Performing Arts and Children.
Miss Katie graduated from Standish-Sterling High School and earned a degree in music from SVSU. Miss Katie was the music teacher and drama coach at Arenac Eastern Schools. Katie also is a well known local photographer and enjoys cooking and sewing.
We are fortunate to utilize her enthusiasm and love of children and music.
Mr. Barry has taught lessons to all ages in guitar, musical theory and improvisational playing. He has worked at the Music Academy in Cadillac - Lakenotes. He specializes in rock and blues but also has an extensive background in metal, funk, and reggae/jam styles.
His high energy approach and great sense of humor is appreciated by all students and staff!
